Setting up biometric lock and passcode

Add Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint, or a passcode to protect the app.

Enabling biometric lock

Biometric authentication adds a layer of security so that only you can open the app.

1Go to Settings → Security → Biometric Lock.
2Toggle it on.
3Authenticate with your device's biometric (Face ID, Touch ID, or fingerprint) to confirm.
4The app will now require biometric authentication every time you open it.

Setting up a passcode

A 4-digit passcode is set during onboarding and serves as a fallback when biometrics are unavailable.

1Go to Settings → Security → Change Passcode.
2Enter your current passcode.
3Enter your new 4-digit passcode twice to confirm.

The passcode is stored locally on your device using secure storage (Keychain on iOS, EncryptedSharedPreferences on Android). It is never transmitted to our servers.

Auto-lock timing

By default, the app locks when backgrounded for more than 1 minute. You can change this in Settings → Security → Auto-Lock to: immediately, 1 minute, 5 minutes, or 15 minutes.

Regain access to your account if you forget your password.
